Russian airline S7, formerly known as Sibir Airlines, late Sunday said it will resume direct flights to Georgia from March 30.

Russia has fallen out with Georgiaover two border regions which want to break away from the Caucasian republic. In 2006 Russia banned imports of Georgian wine and mineral water, and airlines suspended direct flights between the two countries.

S7 said it will fly to the Georgian capital Tbilisi, and two other major cities in the country.
