On 8th November of 2009, 6 km road section of Kakhati-Koki-Orsantia local road was opened in Samegrelo region. The project was financed by the World Bank in the amount of  1,445 mln. GEL ($850,000) and executed by Zugdidi Road Management LLC.

The road rehabilitation allows more comfortable movement of vehicles. Subsequently social condition of population will be improved due to ease of transportation of supplies and products.
