Reportedly, Russian Federation will restore air links with its neighbour - Georgia starting of March 25. Flights between Georgia and Russian Federation will now be regularly implemented. Airzena, Georgian Airways will be the first to implement flight Tbilisi-Moscow, first since air connection with Russia was suspended.

According to the Russian side, the resolution regarding Tbilisi-Moscow-Tbilisi flights has been adopted now that Georgian side has covered arrears in the amount just over USD 2 million.

Russia placed an economic embargo on Georgia, suspended air and postal connections with Georgia and started deporting Georgian citizens from the Russian Federation following the arrests of four alleged Russian military intelligence officers, who were charged with espionage back on September 27, 2006.
