Russian ambassador to Georgia Mr. Vyacheslav Kovalenko has hailed the decision of the Russian government to lift economic embargo against Georgia and resume flights between Georgia and Russia as the positive steps in the process of improving bilateral relations.

Mr. Kovalenko said the process of reconciliation has begun, this is a good sign, as you know flights will be resumed from 25 March, other measures will be also taken, it's just necessary that Georgia made similar responding steps,' Mr. ambassador told journalists as he was visiting the Georgia's Technical University today.

Russian ambassador presented the department of Russian Language and Literature with modern computer, TV and Audio sets and other equipments.

The ambassador hopes that equipping the department with modern technologies would improve the level of knowledge of Russian language among students and will facilitate scientific activities.
