A group of the observers from the Commonwealth of Independent States, including 74 people, have positively evaluated the Georgian parliamentary elections, held on 21 May 2008.

The CIS observers said that the voting process had been transparent and watchdogs had not fixed any serious violation; members of the election administrations had been mobilized more and acted in accordance with affirmed norms.
