Davit Berdzenishvili, Majority MP Candidate running in Batumi (administrative capital of Georgia’s Adjara Region) from the Republican Party speculated on election fraud during the May 21 parliamentary polls.

Berdzenishvili said through innovated methods of elections rigging, the authorities had issued fake passports to citizens currently living abroad, and added their votes in their favor.

Republican Party member also named law voter turnout and successful bribing of voters as reasons for his defeat.
