Parliamentary elections are over - all 3,558 polling stations were closed exactly at 20:00. According to the data released by the CEC, by 17:00 the voter turnout in whole country was 42%. After closing the polling stations the process of ballot count began and the data will be sent to the CEC.

 

The results of the exit-polls conducted by foreign experts and several local NGOs were announced briefly after the polls were announced over. According to the data of the exit-polls obtained by 16:00 four political subjects overcame 5% election threshold. They are: ruling party National Movement - 63,2%; United Opposition - 14,2%; Christian-Democratic Movement - 9,1%; and Labour Party - 5,8%.

These are the results of the inquiry of 8981 voters.
