MOSCOW, Jan 24 (Reuters) - Russia's stock market fell on Monday after a blast at the country's biggest ariport Domodedovo killed what state-run news agency ITAR-TASS said killed at least 20 people.

"After the blast people are selling to be on a safe side. But the reaction may not be lasting," said Maxim Gulevich, a trader at UBS in Moscow.

The rouble-based MICEX .MCX index fell more than 2.3 percent to 1,707 by 1430 GMT, down from 1,724 points before the accident.

Shares of Russia's biggest airline Aeroflot (AFLT.MM: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) were down 4.1 percent. (Writing by Andrey Ostroukh, Editing by John Bowker)
