Ghia Nodia, Georgia’s Minister of Education and Science will arrive in Georgia’s Samtskhe-Javakheti region later today.

He will attend the opening ceremony of Okami newly-constructed public school and will hand over sports equipment to the educational institution.

The school was built in 2007. Heating systems were installed and new furniture was bought. A total of 1,723,400 GEL was allocated for the school from the presidential fund.

Nodia is also scheduled to meet with teachers of Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda public schools to discuss future reforms to be implemented in the education sector.
