Rector of the Tbilisi State University Gia Khubua was attending the Higher Education Summit for Global Development which was held in Washington in the aegis of the U.S. secretary Condoleezza Rice.

Representatives of 12 various countries were also participating in the summit, which aims at cooperation, imposition of new international relations in natural and technical sciences. Secretary Rice presented summurizing speech at the summit.
