Representatives of the Republican Party met with US National Party members. The meeting mainly referred to the forthcoming May 21 Georgian parliamentary elections.

As the Republicans’ leader Davit Usupashvili stated, the meeting discussions focused on elections lists related issues, election administrations’ working and relations of businessmen and oppositional political parties as well.

According to Usupashvili, various Georgian businessmen refuse to sponsor oppositional parties, explaining it as governmental pressure over representatives of business circles.
