Georgia will host a session of World Health Organisation in September, 2008. Reportedly, 54 foreign Welfare Ministers will participate in the event that is the first precedent in the post Soviet space.

The Director of World Health Organization’s Regional Office for Europe Marc DANZON and his Georgian Deputy Nata Menabde are visiting Georgia. They have already met with representatives of Georgia’s government as part of the official visit that is targeted at discussing organisational issues for the September session of the World Health Organisation.
