Maia Miminoshvili, Head of the Georgian National Examinations Centre arrived in Upper Abkhazia (former Kodori Gorge) earlier this afternoon. Miminoshvili and Aleksandre Aplakov, Abkhazian Education Minister met with university entrants and local school students. Talks were held on problems facing the education sphere in the region. Miminoshvili and Aplakov also handed over school textbooks to Upper Abkhazian schools. |
