Speaking before the Duma last Wednesday, Putin said, "Creation of a common economic space is the most important event in post-Soviet space since the collapse of the Soviet Union."

A Quotation

"The belief that security can be obtained by throwing a small state to the wolves is a fatal delusion."
Winston Churchill, The Gathering Storm

"This is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense! Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy!"
Winston Churchill, October 29, 1941
